Faith on your Partner

Oct. 2nd, 2006 | 01:59 pm
mood: optimistic optimistic
music: Mr. Deeds the movie at the background

Being in a long distance relationship, I feel that trust on your partner is the most important factor in our relationship. Recently, a friend of mine who is taking the bar exams, just confessed to me that he has cheated on his wife a few times before, during the five years of their marriage. And also, my mother brought up a topic, that men can always just have sex with someone, even if they don't really feel anything for that person. About my friend, I really look up on him, because he's the usual big brother figure that I am looking for. He has a deep sence of morals, always calm and objective, until that conversation, I feel like he let me down in a way, and it feels that I kinda don't feel like I should have looked up on him so much. I guess people, specially our friends, do things we don't like or entirely agree with, but I guess what matters most is if he is still the person we knew him to be, even if he committed those things.

I feel sad, that my husband is not with me right now, but like he said, it's another thing we will pass on. I've got a number of people, who's telling me a lot of things, just to make me paranoid, but for the most part the faith on my husband still lies on me. Some people, just plainly enjoy putting someone in that situation, and I guess all I can do is just ask them to stop, and if they persist, I don't think it's worth my time and attention to even listen to them. Just let me enjoy my faith on my husband, unless you found reason to say otherwise, right now I really need more support than protagonism against him.^_^;

On the side note... I've eaten Uni lately, I'm sorry for the description but it kinda looks like my nephew's poop.^_^; And I've got a chance to eat pizza and my favorite mozarella sticks at Don Henricos Sunday, and it's still as good as I remembered.^_^ I've decided to add a new portion on my journal called "Random Thought of the Day," it's just about things that I've randomly thought about, and it doesn't necessarily have much importance or sence on them, but for the most part I kinda find them amusing, interesting or just even wondering about. :P

Random Thought of the Day: Why don't soaps, deodorant, toothpaste (hygiene products) have expiration dates on them?

After Milenyo

Oct. 2nd, 2006 | 09:15 am
location: Crazy costume shop
mood: creative creative
music: Usher concert DVD at the background

Survived Milenyo... still got online, during all those times, so everything is good.

The sad thing is... the whole street is lined with fallen trees and clumps of branches. I feel sad for the trees, there's not much trees anymore left in the metropolis, and during the storm some of them are even uprooted, I'm talking about the big trees. I suppose, it's bound to happen since I live near the sea. The wind was really strong,  you could hear the wind hoaling, and the roofing of other houses flying by.

The only sad thing is... my production for costumes haulted for those days *sighs* It sucks that, when you finally got that excitement  back to make costumes, something interupts it, and you feel lazy to continue after. :P

Sushi Day^_^

Aug. 12th, 2006 | 03:45 pm
location: common room
mood: bouncy bouncy
music: The Terminal - background movie

I'm not a sushi lover. First time I got to taste one was when my big brother took home a bunch from Tokyo Tokyo, and it was a California Maki. My brother taunted me until I ate it, and it didn't taste that nice for me.^_^; There was a time when I was fond of watching Yakitate Japan, the lead female character Tsukino had a favorite sushi, I forgot the name, but I remembered what it was from the subtitles, it was salmon roe sushi. I tried finding it in Japanese restaurants I pass by serving sushi, but I wasn't able too.

While my husband was here last month, out of curiousity because we immediately saw a rotating sushi bar, we stopped by Sakae Sushi in Mall of Asia while were there. With just a description in mind, I asked the receptionist if they had it, and immediately they knew what I was talking about , and showed it to me in the menu, then I knew what  it was called... Ikura Sushi.^_^ So we sat down appreciating the ambience of the restaurant, and trying to figure out how to order. Upon sitting we noticed now nice and well used the space is in the cubicle. Beside is the the rotating sushi bar, and monitor. Services are computerized from ordering to calling waiter assistance. Looking at the menu, it's nice that you get the see the picture of the food along with the prices, and you get to monitor for yourselves, what we've ordered and how much it costs so far. ^_^ I appreciate the system so much, because it provides conveniece for customers and less stress for the staff.^_^ Food looks very presentable. When I finally tasted my sushi, the salmon roe was soft jelly-like in texture but very salty in taste, thus the rice and mild taste of the cucumber was a nice compliment to the saltyness of the roe. Overall the it was nice dining there, specially for sushi aficionados, though pricewise it's not an everyday thing for the average Filipino. ^_^

Wish I could taken a picture though. :p I sure will next time I will get another dose of Ikura sushi...anyone want to join me?^_^
